Whether you're newly discovering your allergies or have been managing them for years, The Mindfulness Zone, sponsored by Arla LactoFREE, offers practical tools to ease anxiety and stress, especially when you're out and about.
Join Becca from Cloud Seven Meditation for empowering £5 sessions (£7 for on the day bookings), lasting 30 minutes, of meditation and breathwork designed to help you manage your allergy symptoms. Meditation is a powerful tool that helps balance your heightened immune system response, often triggered by allergies. By calming your stress response, meditation gives your body the space it needs to recalibrate, supporting your immune system in functioning effectively. Becca will guide you through short, simple, and powerful techniques, including take-away breathwork exercises that you can easily practice anytime, anywhere, even in the busiest of moments. Book your 30 minute class at The Allergy & Free From Show
Additionally, Jennifer Austin, Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, from Balmonds' will lead free hypnotherapy sessions that incorporates an anchoring technique. Participants will be guided into a relaxed trance state and encouraged to make a small, personalised movement, such as touching their thumb to their palm. This will create an "anchor" that can be used to trigger the calming effects of the trance whenever needed. After the session, participants will receive an anchoring audio to continue practicing at home.

Asal Shirazi is a pioneering health advocate, educator, and author whose work is reshaping how autoimmune diseases are understood and managed. Her journey is driven by a passion for saving lives, educating the public, and providing support to those struggling with chronic illnesses.
Asal’s mission stems from a deep commitment to addressing the gaps in autoimmune disease awareness and care. Autoimmune conditions often go undiagnosed for years, leading to unnecessary suffering. She recognized that education, lifestyle interventions, and early detection could change this narrative—and she dedicated her life to making that change happen.
Founder of the Autoimmune Support and Awareness Foundation (ASAF), Author of Unmasking Autoimmune Disease, Health & Wellbeing Coach & Recognised Leader & Advocate Specialising in Autoimmune and Chronic Disease
The Bigger Picture: Changing Lives & Saving Futures
Asal Shirazi’s life’s work is more than just raising awareness—it’s about changing the future of healthcare for autoimmune patients. Through ASAF, her book, and her coaching, she is:
Shortening diagnosis times by educating both patients and doctors.
Providing actionable solutions for people who feel lost in the medical system.
Advocating for better healthcare policies that recognize autoimmune diseases as serious, life-altering conditions.
Her compassion, knowledge, and relentless advocacy are making a tangible difference. She is not just educating—she is empowering, transforming, and saving lives.
Stacey’s book of sweet indulgent food has not only been created for the person and family that suffer with allergies and intolerances but for everyone to enjoy. It is also perfect for people with Coeliac disease, vegans and the Paleo diet and just perfect for those who want to be able to enjoy traditional sweet indulgent puddings, deserts and snacks that are made from healthier ingredients and free from the main allergy groups.
All traditional sweet puddings, deserts and sweet snacks are made with Flour, milk, butter and eggs! (Gluten, Dairy and eggs!) With advances in nutritional understanding and medicine we now have so many people, families and children who cannot eat these and many other foods as they are allergic or as with 45% of the population, intolerant and suffer with terrible side effects. At present most chefs, restaurants and hotels provide sweet options that are for vegans (which tend to be dairy and gluten free) or a ‘gluten free option’ is now very popular too, however there are never sweet indulgent options without all three ingredients. If there are they tend to be dry, tasteless and lack any resemblance to the real thing!
Stacey is allergic and intolerant to many foods including gluten and dairy and has been for many years now. Her mum is now the same and more recently her daughter has been diagnosed with an allergy to dairy and sensitivities to egg and gluten. As a family they love sweet traditional puddings and deserts and snacks. Stacey recognises as a parent it her duty to do her best for her daughter and to watch her miss out on sweet treats of waffles, pancakes and chocolate ice cream is hard. This is when Stacey’s mission began. She researched and educated herself on alternative eating. Having no experience, she has used the help of a great nutritionist and a chef to understand and create alterative recipes. Stacey wanted to create recipes using as many raw ingredients and as little refined sugars as possible. Creating sweet food that still had the same amazing taste and texture.
This book will begin with Stacey’s story. Her journey leading to being diagnosed with allergies and intolerances. In brief how this happened, how Stacey discovered it and how Stacey treated it. The book will highlight how common allergies and intolerance are and the symptoms. 45% of the population suffer with sensitivities. The key is to present a recipe book that isn’t too medical, not too much script but enough to keep the reader interested. Stacey’s journey was an expensive one and the average person who believes they suffer may struggle to afford to do what Stacey has done (consult a chef, a nutritionist, run various private blood and urine tests) Stacey hopes this book will provide help for those who believe they may have allergies. Hoping her findings and experience will help others. Not give answers but help identify and provide amazingly tasty sweet food to enjoy! It is important to Stacey that the reader understands that she isn’t a great chef or a nutritionist but just a sufferer of food allergies and a mother who wants to do the best she can for her family and others who also suffer.
Not only will this recipe book help highlight signs for allergies and sensitivities to foods and be a great help for the allergy sufferer and the family who crave sweet treats, but it will be a beautiful book combining lifestyle and food using lots of amazing images and drawings hand illustrated by Stacey and her children, giving the book an all-round full visual look. It will be so visual that it will almost become a coffee table book. Each recipe will have a photo. All recipes will be made and photographed in Stacey’s home with her daughter. Stacey will present recipes in the most beautiful visual way possible.
The book will conclude with a 2 week pull out food diary. This will be carefully designed to help those that believe they may have intoelrences and allergies to food identify them and what to do next. A full 12 week leather bound food diary will be designed by Stacey to be purchased separately.

Nadim Ednan-Laperouse OBE
My wife Tanya and I founded The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation in 2019 following the inquest into the death of our fifteen-year-old daughter Natasha. The charity’s mission ‘make allergy history.’ We are bringing about positive change for the 2-3 million people living in the UK with diagnosed food allergies by focusing on funding medical research, campaigning for law and policies that empower and save allergic lives, and by educating and raising allergy awareness in society. We want to ensure the needs of people living with allergies are met in a meaningful way and to positively impact allergic lives.
Tanya Ednan-Laperouse OBE
Everything that I am, I owe to my daughter Natasha. She was a wonderful daughter, the very best and I learned so much from her. To those who knew her, she was a kind and loyal friend, she was brave, thoughtful and wise, funny, often hilarious, clever and so talented; to me, always my baby girl.
As Co-Founder of Natasha’s Foundation my greatest passion is to give people living with allergies real hope for a safer future and also a platform to be heard. It is too late for Natasha, but there are many people just her – living with life threatening food allergies, and they are all precious and deserve to be understood and their illness to be taken extremely seriously.

Delicious food that just happens to be good for you.
Eva Humphries, MSc, DipION, mBANT, CNHC, is a leading BANT registered nutritionist with a refreshingly down-to-earth approach to nourishing food.
Forget everything you think you know about nutrition, do away with the notion of calories and consider a thought-provoking perspective that focuses on the addition of delicious foods.
Eva’s approach to nutrition is just that, a relaxed culmination of science-backed ideas that work to improve how we feel every day but without worrying about “bad” foods or restrictions.
Her creative angle means she speaks less about avocado on toast and focuses more on things that matter, such as ‘what to eat for better sleep’, ‘how to have more energy’ and ‘what to put on our plates to feel good’.
Eva runs a busy nutrition clinic focused on helping individuals feel amazing through food.
Her science-backed quotes are often featured in the media, including prestigious publications such as The Telegraph, The Times, Women’s Health and many others.
Elsewhere, Eva facilitates wellbeing talks for businesses, speaks at conferences and hosts retreats, all in the name of telling the world that nutrition is just about eating more whole foods, not about going on a diet.
Founder Grow with Iris: Fortified, free from and plant-based Growing up drink for kids.
I founded Grow with Iris in 2018, transitioning from art teacher to entrepreneur after my daughter Iris was diagnosed with life-threatening allergies at four months old. My lived experience of managing her allergies and feeling helpless drove me to support other families and create more choice when it comes to children’s nutrition and milk alternatives. As someone who truly understands the daily challenges of allergies – too often misunderstood – I’m passionate about being an advocate for living with allergies, not being held back by them.
Together with my co-founder Sophie Paynter (who recently became an allergy mum herself), we’ve developed an innovative fortified plant-based growing-up drink for children over 12 months, free from the six most common allergens.
Our mission is simple: bring more choice to more children. Whether families are navigating allergies, following a plant-based lifestyle, or simply seeking inclusive nutrition options, we’re here to support them with products that are both safe and sustainable.
After years of rigorous development alongside paediatricians and dietitians, our UK-manufactured drink launched in August 2024. We’re proud that our extensive testing ensures zero ‘may contain’ warnings, offering true peace of mind for allergy families. Free from palm oil, emulsifiers, preservatives, and artificial colours, we’ve earned multiple Free From Food Awards including Best Plant-Based Drink, Nourish Innovation recognition, and secured three rounds of Innovate UK funding, including Woman in Innovation, Sustainability in Innovation and Biomedical Catalyst awards.

Her next aim is to help to improve gluten-free offerings and understanding in schools – an area often highlighted as needing much improvement by her followers – alongside the likes of hospitals, events, restaurants and public transport.
Outside of food, Becky also has a strong interest in talking about mental health having suffered from an Eating Disorder in her early twenties; in 2024 she contributed a chapter to the book ‘Eating Disorders Don’t Discriminate’, documenting how an eating disorder covertly manifested itself into her life. In addition to this, having discovered that she has the BRCA2 gene mutation, she’s incredibly passionate about sharing the life changing implications this diagnosis has had had on her, which included a double mastectomy in May 2022, age 31.
Not only have her cookbooks received Nigella Lawson’s seal of approval, Becky was awarded Observer Food Monthly’s Best Food Personality award in 2022, the bCreator Award’s Food Creator of the Year 2022 and BBC Food Creator of the Year 2023. She has appeared on TV shows such as This Morning, showing the nation how easy it is to make delicious gluten-free food, as well as cooking and baking at events including the Good Food Show, The Big Feastival, Pub in the Park and Carfest.
Her six Sunday Times best-selling cookbooks, How to Make Anything Gluten Free, How to Bake Anything Gluten Free, How to Plan Anything Gluten Free, Quick and Easy Gluten Free, Gluten Free Christmas and Gluten Free Air Fryer were published by Quadrille. She lives in Essex, UK.
The speaker schedule will be subject to change up until the event. Make sure to keep checking back at this page to keep up to date with updates and announcements for the 2025 expo.
