Tell us a bit more about your free from journey
Lily was diagnosed with coeliac disease at just 16 months old, nearly 13 years ago. Back then, we’d never even heard of coeliac disease. There were no support groups, limited social media, very limited gluten free choices, and absolutely no safe food events to attend.
What started as a diagnosis quickly became a journey of learning, adapting, and finding our way. That’s why we set up this page to share our finds, support others, and hopefully make someone else’s journey feel a little less overwhelming.
We always try to focus on the positives of living with coeliac disease, and events like the Allergy & Free From Show have played such a huge part in that. They’ve helped us discover trusted coeliac safe brands, build confidence around food, and feel part of a community that truly understands.
Why have you joined the Allergy & Free From Show Ambassador Programme?
Becoming an Allergy & Free From Show Ambassador felt like a natural step for us, the chance to give back, raise awareness, and help others discover safe food options and supportive spaces.
What are you most looking forward to about the event in May?
We’re so excited to attend the show together, hear the inspiring talks, try new and familiar brands, and connect with fellow coeliac friends & families.
