A new feature for 2026 – The Nail Bus

The Nail Bus

Visitors to the Allergy & Free From Show this May can discover a brand-new feature with the arrival of the The Nail Bus. Founded by Bella Strickland, the Nail Bus is a unique mobile experience for all visitors to enjoy. We sat down with Bella to find out a bit more about her, her exciting company and what she’ll be bringing to the Allergy & Free From Show on 9-10 May.

Can you tell us a bit more about how the Nail Bus began and what inspired you to create this unique beauty experience?

The Nail Bus began as a dream to take beauty services on the road and make them more accessible, personal, and community focused. I converted a bus into a fully functioning mobile nail and beauty salon to create something that felt warm, welcoming and offered a little bit magical. I wanted clients to feel like they were stepping into a calm, thoughtful space that prioritises both their wellbeing and the planet. We specialise in providing high-quality, professional treatments in a unique, boutique style setting. Our focus is on offering clients a more conscious, elevated beauty experience combining luxury with sustainability wherever possible.

Your products are described as all-natural. What was your motivation behind prioritising this?

As the founder of Nail Bus Ltd., I was passionate about creating our own range of products that aligned with our brands ethos and values. UK-made hand, nail and lash care products that are vegan, palm oil-free, and as natural as possible. The beauty industry can often overlook ingredient transparency, and I wanted to offer an alternative, especially for people who are conscious about what they put on their skin (like myself).

Sustainability was also key for me, it’s a lifestyle choice and the foundation of our brand identity. From our Nail Bus being self-contained using solar power to run all our lighting and tools to the products we use, we consciously implement eco-responsible practices throughout the business. Which is why our products are handmade and packaged using glass, aluminium and wood rather than plastic wherever possible creating a more mindful beauty experience.

For visitors who may have sensitive skin or allergies, what should they know about the ingredients you use?

We carefully select gentle, naturally derived ingredients and avoid harsh chemicals commonly found in conventional beauty products. Our formulations are vegan and palm oil-free, and we are always transparent about ingredients so visitors can feel confident asking questions. While we always recommend patch testing for anyone with specific allergies, our focus is on creating products that are kind to sensitive skin and mindful of common irritants. Full ingredients list can be found on our website or on our stand at the show.

What packages will you be offering visitors?

At the show, we’ll be offering express natural mini manicures with cuticle care, enhancing varnish and gel nail treatments, hand massage treatments and festival glitter to add some sparkle. All treatments are designed to be quick, relaxing, and perfect for a show setting. Visitors will also be able to learn more about our products and purchase their favourites to take home.

What are you most looking forward to about the show?

I’m most looking forward to meeting visitors who are already passionate about ingredient awareness and conscious living. It’s such a unique space where people genuinely care about what they use on their bodies, so being able to offer treatments that align with those values is really special.

Bella is offering a 10% discount using code GLOWUP10 for those who prebook their appointments before 9th May.
