Dr Chloe Pasco-Gleeson is a general practitioner who is passionate about helping the lives of children and adults living with eczema. She graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London.
Her main motivation is also a personal one, as her son has battled severe eczema since birth. She understands first hand the struggles people face when trying to navigate the conflicting information about how to treat and manage their child’s eczema.
Having also completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences from Durham University, this alongside her medical expertise, has given her a deep understanding of both the physical and mental challenges faced by eczema sufferers and their close family members. She also spent time in Australia and has published work in the New Zealand and Australia Journal of Psychiatry.
With 10 years of clinical experience, she has more recently focused on partnering with dermatology-focused companies to reduce misinformation around how to best manage eczema for children and their close family members. She is interested in how advances in digital technology and artificial intelligence can drive innovation in the dermatology sector.
Dr Chloe Pasco-Gleeson also contributes expert content as a medical author for Praktiki, a micro-learning platform for healthcare professionals.
