Itch Less, Sleep Better: Managing Eczema with the Right Clothing

Dealing with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or other itchy skin conditions can feel like an endless cycle of irritation, disrupted sleep, and exhaustion. Persistent scratching leads to broken skin, increased infection risk, and prolonged discomfort, leaving you trapped in a cycle that seems impossible to break.

If you’ve been navigating these challenges, you’ve likely spent countless hours exploring relief—whether through specialist creams, medications, or lifestyle changes and routines designed to calm irritation.

But have you considered how the clothing you wear might play a role in easing your symptoms?

Why Clothing Matters in Managing Eczema

It might sound obvious, but clothing is in constant contact with your skin, making fabric choice and design crucial for comfort and healing. While poorly made garments with raised seams, scratchy tags, or chemical treatments can worsen irritation, the right clothing can provide soothing comfort, protection, and support for sensitive skin.

Could Eczema Clothing Be Part of Your Solution?

At Eczema Clothing, we understand the struggle—because we’ve lived it. Broken skin, sleepless nights, and endless frustration are all too familiar. That’s why we’re committed to providing clothing that not only offers comfort but also helps reduce triggers and protect sensitive skin.

Our carefully curated, personally tried-and-tested range allows skin to recover naturally, improving sleep and overall well-being. Every piece in our Allergy UK-approved Cotton Comfort collection is designed to address the unique challenges of eczema-prone skin.

*Our internal survey was undertaken with a Typeform survey through Klaviyo in May 2023 on a total audience of c.11,000 customers and resulted in 458 responses, of which 354 (77%) had eczema, which is the segment our analysis is based on.

Our external survey was undertaken by Potentia in May 2023 and used a pre-screened audience with eczema, estimated at around 5% of the overall population originally surveyed (i.e., 200 responses from a general population of c.4,000). The responses obtained were from an audience with a fairly even split across male/female and across adult age groups.
