Hi I’m Sam and have two children who both have severe allergies. Jessica is eight years old and allergic to milk. Georgia is four years old and allergic to egg and certain nuts. It is difficult as milk and eggs are found in so many different foods and I am constantly checking ingredients of everything they eat to make sure it is safe. I don’t think people realise how hard it is living with anaphylaxis. It’s not just avoiding the allergens (which is extremely hard!), it’s living with the fear a reaction may happen.
I have just founded Anaphylaxis Community. I’m on a mission to help make the world a better place for people living with anaphylaxis. I am so excited to campaign for change and improve the lives of allergy sufferers.
