Oscar lives with eczema, asthma, and hay fever, all influenced by a range of dietary and environmental sensitivities. During a particularly stressful period, his eczema flared severely, which pushed him to take a deeper look at what was driving his symptoms.
That experience led him to better understand his triggers and ultimately to create The Itchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy in 2020—an evidence-based resource designed to help others make sense of living with eczema.
Oscar is a strong advocate for education and self-care. He believes that managing chronic conditions isn’t just about treatment, but about building awareness, testing what works, and having access to clear, reliable information. This approach also inspired him to launch MushMunity, a food product based on ingredients that supported his own symptom management.
His focus now is on helping others navigate eczema, allergies, and sensitivities with more confidence and clarity.
