Allergy & Free From Show announces partnership with City Harvest

The Allergy & Free From Show is proud to announce a new partnership with City Harvest, an organisation dedicated to reducing food insecurity and protecting the planet by diverting quality, nutritious, edible surplus food from waste and redistributing it to those in need.

This partnership aligns the Allergy & Free From Show’s commitment to promoting health and well-being – both organisations are passionate about improving access to fresh, nourishing food for all.

City Harvest food charity addresses two big issues: food poverty and food waste. Their fleet of iconic vans collect surplus food from all segments of the food industry and delivering it, free of charge, to 375+ community programs across London feeding 120,000 people a week. These organisations provide meals to vulnerable people, including families, food banks, schools, youth clubs, children, the elderly, and those experiencing homelessness.

Annie Bennet, Event Manager of The Allergy & Free From Show said: “We are thrilled to partner with City Harvest and support their incredible work in reducing food waste and feeding those in need. This collaboration is a natural extension of our commitment to promoting healthy, sustainable living, and we look forward to making a meaningful impact together.”

The Allergy & Free From Show is making its triumphant return on June 22nd – 23rd, 2024, at Olympia Event. Visitors can shop brands such as Tesco, M&S, Dr Schar, Promise Gluten Free, KoKo Dairy Free and more while exploring their tasting stations.
