He is the voice behind Gluten Free Street Gang, a social media platform that blends humour, travel tips, and real talk about living gluten free. He is a the UK travel consultant for Celiacs in Europe, a regular contributor to Gluten Free & More magazine, and has featured on many podcast and gluten-free expos to discuss his knowledge.
Diagnosed with “probably celiac” in 2012, later refined to gluten intolerance, Matt launched the project in 2018 as a way to cope with the daily challenges of a restricted diet, starting with humour and growing into a trusted resource to travel from Europe to North America and beyond.
Based in London, Matt’s mission is to show that a gluten-free diet doesn’t mean you can’t travel far, eat well, or have a laugh doing it.
