Development Chef - Newly Weds Foods

Newly Weds Foods is a leading food ingredient supplier, known for innovative custom flavour solutions and culinary products. We offer a range of items, including coating systems, sauces, seasonings, functional ingredients and frozen butters and pelleted sauces, all crafted to enhance dining experiences. Since 2018, I have been a vital part of the culinary team at Newly Weds Foods, where I work across a diverse range of categories, continually pushing the boundaries of flavour while being aligned with R&D and Marketing.

My culinary journey began in France, where I had the opportunity to learn about classic French cooking and develop my skills in traditional techniques. This experience was further enriched by my time at a renowned fish restaurant in Greece, where I worked alongside two talented Swedish fish chefs. Their innovative approach to seafood had a significant impact on my culinary style. Later, I served as head chef at a restaurant in Lincolnshire, where I focused on utilising local produce and specialised in a la plancha grilling to highlight the natural flavours of ingredients. In recent years my career includes valuable experience as a development chef, concentrating on fish and seafood, chicken, soups, sauces for ready meals, deli items and added-value products.
