The Allergy & Free From Show 2026 has unveiled a packed and purpose-driven agenda for the Inspiration Stage, sponsored by Koko Dairy Free, promising two days of expert insight, personal stories and practical advice for those living with allergies and intolerances.
Taking place on 9–10 May at the NEC Birmingham, the Inspiration Stage stands out as the show’s central hub for education and empowerment, bringing together leading clinicians, advocates and well-known personalities from across the free-from community.
The programme opens on Saturday morning with a welcome from host Aimee Vivian, before diving straight into one of the most pressing concerns for families: navigating a new diagnosis. Professor Adam Fox OBE leads the session “My Child Has a Food Allergy, What Are My Options?”, offering clinical guidance and reassurance for parents at the start of their journey.
The day continues with a diverse mix of topics, reflecting the broad spectrum of challenges faced by the allergy community. Highlights include a powerful talk on topical steroid withdrawal from advocate Briana Banos, followed by a fireside chat with bestselling author Becky Excell, the Queen of Gluten Free.
Travel and lifestyle are also firmly on the agenda. Julianne Ponan MBE shares insights on navigating international travel with allergies, while an expert panel explores “The Future of Gluten-Free”, examining innovation, dietary trends and what lies ahead for the category.
Later sessions shift focus to independence and wellbeing, including a panel led by Natasha’s Foundation on living confidently with food allergies, and a keynote from gut health specialist Dr Megan Rossi, who will unpack the connection between digestive health and overall wellbeing.
Sunday’s programme continues the momentum with a more psychological and lifestyle-oriented lens. Sessions include a discussion on food allergy treatment from a psychological perspective, as well as practical advice on managing household allergies to improve sleep, skin and general health.
Feeding difficulties and nutrition are also addressed in an expert panel, offering guidance for families navigating complex dietary needs. The stage then culminates in a headline fireside chat with Olympic swimmer Becky Adlington OBE, who will share her personal experience of living with coeliac disease, providing an inspiring close to the weekend.
Across both days, the Inspiration Stage delivers a carefully curated balance of medical expertise, lived experience and forward-looking discussion. From early diagnosis to long-term lifestyle management, the agenda reflects the evolving needs of the free-from community while creating space for connection, learning and inspiration.
With a line-up spanning clinicians, campaigners, creators and elite athletes, the stage reinforces the show’s position as the UK’s leading event dedicated to supporting those living with allergies and intolerances, making it an unmissable feature for visitors planning their weekend.
